CARING FOR YOUR OVENWARE

Ovenware is handmade from sturdy stoneware which makes it microwave, dishwasher and oven friendly. Here are some helpful hints on how to care for your stoneware bakers:

To prevent thermal shock, it is best to place the room temperature stoneware dishes in a cool oven and let it slowly come to temperature as the heat in the oven rises.  You may want to adjust the cook time by adding 5 – 10 minutes to the recipe if needed due to the oven not being pre-heated.  Stoneware dishes are oven safe up to 400 degrees.

If desired, Stoneware items may be placed on the top rack of the dishwasher.   However, for the longevity of your dish, hand washing is preferred.  Never place stoneware on a hot element, over an open flame, or directly on the grill.  Do not immerse a hot stoneware dish in cold water.  Your stoneware bakers are meant to last a lifetime with gentle & mindful care.
